In-Game GUI and Other DarkRP texture fixes

Well, guys, it's ghlegend195 back, and I'm rather glad to be returning. Hopefully I'll get more time on the server during my spring break. Also, maybe some people *cough, cough* might reconsider returning my admin position. Anyways, the topic at hand: Halp! My Gmod is bwoken! I can't pway DarkRP! :c

OK, so now that the little children who may be wandering the forum know their existence has been acknowledged, I will begin to discuss the problems certain persons new to the server or RP in general may encounter.

1. Errors. Errors everywhere.
Alright, so the usual cause to this is you don't have CSS, TF2, or CSGO mounted properly. You can check this from the main menu or pause menu. In the bottom left hand corner of the screen, you will see this freaky-deaky looking retro controller. Click it. You will now see a list of Source games, ones you own and ones you don't. If you see ANY of the games above unchecked, check them and your mass errors should be gone.

If you, like me at one point, do not own CSS or CSGO, THERE IS A FIX TO IT. DON'T LOSE HOPE. First off, if you want the easy way out and apparently have not harvested your money tree this year, go buy CSS or CSGO(You don't need both, just one or the other). Otherwise, there is a way to get these textures through a wonder called SVN. The SVN client I use is TortoiseSVN, and the SVN is relatively simple and easy to use. All you will have to do is go to the gamemodes folder and do an SVN Checkout. The only thing you have to change is the URL of repository. Also, make sure you are using HEAD revision as to ensure you have the latest version of the SVN. The URL is as follows:

Simply copy and paste into URL of repository, grab a drink or a meal, and chillax a little. It's gonna be a while before it gets done.

If your mass amount of errors has not yet disappeared, then you may have a problem with your Gmod in which case you will have to re-install it or at the very least verify the integrity of the game cache.

2. F4 Menu was attacked by Bobby Fischer's ghost...
Yeah, yeah, I know, the in-game GUI for DarkRP is broken/checkered. Encountered the problem today, BUT I found what I did wrong. And provided that this is also how you got your DarkRP files, this is your fix as well.

If you used SVN, simply go to Steam/steamapps/common/Garry's Mod/garrysmod/gamemodes and locate your SVN copy of the Dark RP game files. Once this is complete, right-click the folder of the SVN DarkRP, find SVN Update. Click this button, let the SVN work its magic, and Voila! your errors are completely eradicated.

If you didn't use SVN, Alpha nudged my shoulder about how one of his friends joined a ton of random servers until the game found the workshop/forced download files for DarkRP and got the files like so. Me, being the tech-savy, ADD, autistic person I am decided to cut some corners by simply checking the SVN I had downloaded last year. In conclusion, you can jump servers to find the files in which you wish to have to properly play DarkRP, but I HIGHLY, SUPREMELY RECOMMEND that you simply get the SVN and put it in the previously stated gamemodes folder. It's ten times easier to take care of there.
